The Regional Chamber of Skilled Crafts Association, Haskovo organized the second study visit of the 4th INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION project

The second study visit to Haskovo was organized and conducted by the The Regional Chamber of Skilled Crafts Association, Haskovo within 2 calendar days, respectively on the 6th and 7th of June 2023. It was held within the framework of the project 4TH INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION, co-financed by the the INTERREG V-A Greece-Bulgaria 2014-2020 Cooperation Programme with the participation of representatives of the project partners from Greece and Bulgaria and the target groups.

On the first day, a visit to one of the most popular companies in Bulgaria for the production of sportswear and accessories was organized. To date, FLAIR holds a strong position in the sale of its products in Bulgaria and is working purposefully for its place in the European markets. During the visit, participants learned about the brand’s development and the innovative technologies used in the new footwear and apparel collections, as well as viewed some of the finished product lines and how the models are created.

The second day started with a visit to PIM – one of the high-tech enterprises in the region and an established leader in the production of machinery, equipment and technological lines for various sectors of the food industry with a strong presence on the Bulgarian and international market.
The guests were welcomed by the Administrative Director Eng. Ivan Angelov, who introduced the participants in detail to the company’s profile, the challenges facing its development, as well as the new opportunities that the market development reveals and the ways in which PIM manages to take advantage of them. Many of the company’s production facilities were visited.

The event ended with a visit to Ronis, a company specialised in the design, installation and maintenance of machinery and equipment for tobacco processing. During the meeting, the guests learned more about the technology and specifics of the tobacco industry. The tour of the production facility also gave an insight into the last order that the workers were fulfilling – the technical characteristics, deadlines and volume of the equipment produced.
